Location
We took the photo in a self made studio of a few stands, black fabric as a background and 2 soft boxes.Time
It was around the end of octobre, it was almost 22.00 h, at the end of a shoot.Lighting
We had set up 2 softboxes (one left and another one on the right) to be able to produce some highlights on the models face.Equipment
A 700D canon with a 18-135 kitlens, freehand (no tripod) with 2 soft boxes and 2 Godox SK400II Studio Strobes to get some decent light.Inspiration
At the end of the studio shoot we decided to make some extra head shots for the models portfolio.Editing
Not much post processing has been done. I removed some blemishes and converted the image to Black and white. In my camera bag
I normally carry a Canon 700d + 18-135 zoom (kit)lens.Feedback
When shooting in a studio environment, keep a good look at the results (on your camera) you have to be able to adjust the photo the way you really want it. Changing your position towards the model also changes the way the light falls ito you lens and you may have to correct this on the go.
