Congrats Ann on another winning in a week!!! It's more than beautiful, which I've already expressed in the past by my - one of the most precious - award.

Location
I took this photo of one of our horses in her stall while standing in the aisleway in our barn.Time
This was taken mid-afternoon as she looked out from her stall at me in the aisleway.Lighting
There was natural light coming through her dutch door from the back corner of the stall.Equipment
I took this with my Nikon D750 DSLR with my 105MM Nikkor lens. No tripod, hand held.Inspiration
I have always loved horse's eyes. And Ginny's eyes are exceptionally kind and inviting. You can tell a lot about a horse by looking at their eyes.Editing
Minimal post processing other than adjusting for lighting, contrast and clarity. In my camera bag
I always have my D750 DSLR, my everyday lens, a 28-300MM Nikkor lens and an extra battery. Depending on what I am going to shoot determines what other lenses or tripod I might add to the mix.Feedback
Surprisingly horses are very inquisitive about cameras. When I lift up my camera to shoot all of our horses seem drawn to the camera. Sometimes it is tough to get a photo because they won't keep their distance as they tend to crowd me, LOL.
