Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my house in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico, we have this nice tree called Mocoque, bringing pink brush flowers every spring, this flowers have some kind of honey and it is a powerful attractant for the local birds and bees. I always take my morning cup of coffee outside, along with my camera, hoping to get a nice shot. This

Time

This photo was taken in the morning.

Lighting

The light was almost perfect for me, the sun was on my back, giving me the chance to select the best aperture and the best iso, also the bird was steady enough to get a sharp image.

Equipment

I was using my Nikon D750, no flash, no tripod, auto focus for fast shooting.

Inspiration

I love to see the bees and the birds coming to taste the flowers, the colors are amazing for me.

Editing

I did the basic LightRoom post processing

In my camera bag

Depends on each situation, for this photo I was on my house so all equipment available, but just using my camera on hand, for traveling also depends the kind of trip to select long lenses, tripod, flash, filters, etc.
