I took this photo in a nearby basketball court just a few minutes down the road. This basketball court is situated in a residential area and most of the time it is empty. Back then I had just started shooting sneakers and I loved the process so much so we drove out here and began shooting my new Puma Suede Classics before I start wearing them.Time
If i remember correctly it was somewhere between 5pm-6pm.Lighting
I have nothing special to share about the lighting. My light source was the sun so thank you sun for backing me up hahaha.Equipment
I used my Fujifilm X-T20 for this photo and i used a 7Artisans 7.5mm Fisheye. This combo is one of my favorites, I used it to exaggerate the sneaker and make sure its all about the sneaker and the details underneath. I wanted this photo to feel like its going to pop out of the screen at any second.Inspiration
A very close friend of mine and at the time my room mate loves sneakers so much. I myself also love sneakers especially Pumas. Late at night we would sit down and watch videos of dancers and music videos and also SNEAKERS!. I am no collector of sneakers I am the kind that sticks with the one pair until they are un-wearable but I do love seeing people rocking their kicks and it looks so cool to me and interests me. So thanks to my friend I have been shooting sneakers and I enjoy it very much. Thank you FalwinEditing
I do all my processing using Photoshop's Camera Raw Feature. There is nothing special really about my processing, I just enhance my contrast and clarity in order to exaggerate the details and make sure all the focus is on the sneaker. In my camera bag
I carry my Fujifilm X-T20 and my two lenses a 7artisans 7.5mm and a 7artisans 25mmFeedback
For exaggeration use a wide angle lens and get as close as possible while having your subject still filling the frame. That way it would seem like the subject is popping out and will lead the eyes to focus on whatever you want to show instantly.
