Location

This photo was taken on the road to Crater Lake in Oregon.

Time

The shot was taken late in the day, around 3:30pm.

Lighting

Beautiful winter sunset.

Equipment

Canon 5dmk3 with 24mm f1.4 and tripod.

Inspiration

Its easy to see what inspired me to take this shot.... we were driving along and the lake was not immediately visible from the road, but I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Usually I will just keep driving, but something told me to stop and turn around and go take a look. Glad I did.

Editing

Not a lot of processing... its cropped a little and I did work with the tones a little.

Canon 5d3, 24mm, 70-200mm. Shutter release cable.

Feedback

Dont keep driving. Even if 90% of the time what you find isn't as good as you hoped or thought, 10% of the time it will be as good if not better!
