I photographed this immature Wood Duck along the Fox River in a park an hour from my house. I was not sure what it was at first but the duck was with a group of Wood ducks, adult and immature. I have photographed Wood Ducks once in the past but it was in the spring and they had no babies. It was exciting to see the juveniles.
