Behind The Lens

Location

This is a studio shot taken in my home.

Time

It was taken in the morning along along with other photos in this series.

Lighting

I used two studio flashes.

Equipment

Nikon D700 with a NIKKOR 24-70mm 1:2.8G ED lens. My favorite lens which is always with me!

Inspiration

Instagram is a great inspiration, and when I see something that I don't know how to do, I try to learn.

Editing

I often work with texture layers, and this is one of the results.

In my camera bag

Unless I'm traveling to distant destinations, I only carry my camera with one lens. This keeps me focused on shooting and wasting time wondering if that lens or that filter would be a better choice. I use what I have, learn how to get the most out of that particular lens, and concentrate on the result.

Feedback

Watch out for reflections from umbrellas etc in shiny objects!
