Lilacs bring out childhood memories for me. I used to sleep with my window open, and when I woke up in the morning my room was filled with the scent of purple lilacs. We have lilacs in our garden today as well, and every spring I enjoy them both outside and inside. Here is a shot of lilacs in and old copper pot with verdigris. Maybe it will bring out some good memories for you too!
