Although your eye tricks you into believing that the moon is only white and several shades of grey, it does actually have color. There are deep blues, purples, oranges and yellows too. Recently China's space agency landed a rover on the moon, and the HD images they sent back, show the color variations. My goal with this picture was to try and capture, not only the surface landscape, but to try to reveal the color variations too.
