Behind The Lens

Location

This is back in the mountains of wyoming wind river range on a back packing trip in August of 2017

Time

This was sometime in the late afternoon maybe 2-3 hours before sunset sometime in there.

Lighting

This moment was particularly memorable, we had just watched the 2017 solar eclipse and were on our third day of the backpacking trip.

Equipment

This was taken on the Nikon D810 with the tamron 15-30.

Inspiration

At the time this awesome sunlight was just about to meet the peak and so I quickly left the trail and yanked out my camera. I wasn’t sure how well I would get that sunstar but I managed to get a pretty good one off that peak.

Editing

Yeah! I did some co yeast and color adjustments and added some sharpening to give it the look.

In my camera bag

I usually have my Nikon D850, Tripod and my tamron 15-30 and a 70-300.

Feedback

Spend lots of time deep in the mountains
