All your photos are magnificent. Do you use any photo programs to give them that look that just pops out at you.

Location
Goblin Valley State Park in southern Utah. It's a pretty cool little place just within an hour of Arches National park.Time
This would have been sometime around 3 or 4 am, since it was taken in early spring. It was the only window the milkyway would be visible that night.Lighting
I really wanted that distant light pollution to give off lots and lots of color, considering I usually get a lot of Air glow in my images of Goblin Valley.Equipment
I use a Canon T5i with the Tokina 11-16mm, and an old Velbon Tripod.Inspiration
The works of Michael Shainblum have always been my biggest inspiration.Editing
Yes, there is a lot of post processing in my Night Photography. I typically do a lot of color correction and enhancement in order to get the exact colors and tones of the milkyway. I also add a little color or tone to some of the ambient light or city light to give it the kind of look and feel I like.In my camera bag
I typically Have the Camera, tripod, a lens cleaning kit, a flashlight or head lamp, electrical tape for covering the red exposure light on the side of the camera, ten extra batteries, two extra sd cards, and a shutter remote.Feedback
Always shoot the sky first! the sky is moving so get it first, then expose separately for the Foreground.
