Behind The Lens

Location

The shot was taken in Seattle, at the top of the Magnolia bridge

Time

This photo was taken just before sunset, in Oct of 2017

Lighting

The light was natural.

Equipment

I was using a tripod and a Sony a7m2 and a sony 24-70mm f/2.8, with a Zeiss CPL

Inspiration

The freighters were stacking up on Elliot Bay, under the gaze of Mt Rainier

Editing

HDR 2017

In my camera bag

I'm currently using a Sony a7r4, mated with either Voigtlander, or Loxia lenses. The tripod lives in the trunk of my car

Feedback

Always be prepared for the moment, and always bring your tripod. If you're new to photography, never leave your camera at home. I still pack my camera with me most everywhere I go.
