Location
This picture was taken at Beauchief gardens Sheffield in the UKTime
This was taken about 11:30amLighting
The light was quite soft as it was an overcast day and therefore the camera did the work with only a minor adjustment on photoshopEquipment
Camera was a D300 and I used the Tamaron DCI 90mm macro lensInspiration
Experimental really, I just wanted to try something a bit different to what I normally shoot and I was very pleased with the resultEditing
As I mentioned earlier there was a minor exposure changes in Photoshop and a slight adjustment on the black slider just to get a deeper colour on the flowers and lipstickIn my camera bag
I have now swapped to the D800 an added a 50mmF1.4d lens to go along with the Tamaron 90mmFeedback
Low vantage point is key and as best you can an even spread of flowers. Two colours worked really well if you go more which I did try, in my opinion the shot becomes clutted and the focus moves away from your model and the flowers become the attention
