Location
This photo was taken in Banff in the Canadian Rockies. I found a spot where there were great reflections of the mountains and trees in the slow flowing stream. Although I took many shots I liked the long exposure one the most.Time
From memory it was fairly early in the morning but not at sunrise. (Family holiday in a camper van and they would not have been pleased if I'd got up any earlier!)Lighting
Wish I'd been there at sunrise or sunset!Equipment
It was taken with a Nikon D810 and a Nikon 16-35 F4 lens. I had a Lee landscape polariser in place as well. The Tripod was a Giottos Silk Road carbon (model YTL8254) that I've had for a long time. It's great for travel as it's so light and can get pretty low if needed.Inspiration
I love the out doors. The peace and serenity of slow flowing water with a background of mist, mountains and trees is amazing.Editing
Just some minor contrast and saturation adjustments in photoshop. In my camera bag
