This photo was taken at work in the Clayquot Sound, West Coast, Vancouver Island.

Time

It was about 6:00 a.m.

Lighting

The lighting and sky was a result of a large fire on the mainland and the rising of the morning sun.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D90 and a 18 to 105 lens.

Inspiration

The view required me to take this shot. It was beautiful!

Editing

Slight adjustment for contrast.
