Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the west coast of Vancouver in the Clayquot Sound.

Time

It was taken at about 2 in the afternoon

Lighting

Keep the sun to your back! ( Usually )

Equipment

It was taken with a Nikon D90 and a 70 to 300 lens. I was in a small boat and standing.

Inspiration

The photo is of an Eagle we named Chuck. The nest is just a few hundred feet from where I worked. We called the female Di.

Editing

I try to do as little post processing as possible.

In my camera bag

I always carry my camera, with two lens. An 18 to 105 and the 70 to 300.

Feedback

The only advice I have is to ALWAYS carry a camera. Wow moments are never planned and usually the best shots.
