Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in the Serengeti, Tanzania. I left the campsite early with my driver when we spotted 2 lions and a buffalo. It didn't take long till they attacked the buffalo and took him down.

Time

It was early morning, the shadows were still long though itbwas quickly becoming brighter

Lighting

I used natural light and wasn't able to move much. So had to be lucky

Equipment

I used canon 5d mark iii and the 70-200mm as well as the 400mm lens. I had tye 24-70mm in the bag though

Inspiration

I love wildlife and my main aim was big cats for this trip. Seeing the 2 male lions was pure luck

Editing

I used lightroom to adjust contrast, brightness and the curves

In my camera bag

For wildlife shoits i have canon 5d mark iii and mark ii as backup. 24-70mm, 70-200mm and 400mm lens. Tripod is with me but no use in car
