06.30 on a foggy morning just as the sun was risingLighting
The lighting and effect was all down to my best friend and sometimes my worst enemy Mother Nature and a little waiting for "the moment"Equipment
All I had was a iPhone 6.s nothing else at allInspiration
The way the planes were coming and going through the light and mist almost like ghost ships appearing and disappearing aEditing
A crop in the apple settings and contrast and colour balance in Photoshop mobile app - nothing excessive 2In my camera bag
A Olympus OMD Mk1 a OMD Mk2 selection of 4-6 pro lenses Sony Video camera and all the stuff that goes with those plus 2 smart phones 1 iPhone 1 Samsung but as I was on a quick short return flight to Amsterdam just 2 smartphones on this dayFeedback
It has little or nothing to do with the camera, lens, etc it is about watching waiting and composing thinking outside the box. Seeing the image you want in your head then taking it with whatever you have. Yes,I would have loved my cameras so yes always carry one, but it is more about the moment. This is a lesson I learnt long long ago when a tutor some 12 awesome images with a Olympus 35mm £20 film camera and nothing else in the 1970's. If I am honest very tempted with a Kodak Electra for just that reason.
