Behind The Lens
Location
It was taken in Plaça Catalunya, in Barcelona. There are always a lot of pidgeons, because they sell food for them there, and tourists like to feed them.Time
It was afternoon, the light was still a bit too strong, but luckely at this place the sun was not shinning directly.Lighting
Light was not very special at that place and moment, so I just tried to setup the camera the best I could and focused more in the composition.Equipment
It was taken with my little Canon 100D and a 55-250mm lens. It was taken hand held.Inspiration
I just stopped to watch a kid sorrounded of pidgeons, and I saw how some of them where flying arround her trying to catch her hand to get food faster. And trying to catch that moment, I had the luck to shoot this picture in the perfect timing.Editing
I prefered black and white for this scene, it made the picture stronger and more expresionist. I gave for that a bit more contrast also.In my camera bag
Nowadays, Canon 6D Mark II, and a 50mm + 85mm lenses.Feedback
As Picasso said: "Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working."
