Location
The picture is taken early morning on Knuds hoved peninsula in Denmark. On a long planned trip with my photo buddy Mads, after hiking for an hour in the darkness we came across this wast green field full of mushroom, I dont think we could find a better place to sit and enjoy a cup of morning coffee just waiting for the sun to break the horizon.Time
Early morning just befor the sun rose over the horizon.Lighting
I knew that I wanted to capture both the sunrise in the horison and but also the details of the mushroom, so instead of using a flash I took 7 bracked shots with half a stop intervals, that way I could capture both the shadows and highlights.Equipment
I shot it with my 7D MKII and a ultra wide 11-16mm f/2,8Inspiration
Nature. thats itEditing
As I wrote earlier, I took the image with 7 bracked shots, then I stacked them in lightroom as a 32bit HDR and fixed the highlights and shadows in Adobe Camera Raw before I took it into Lightroom for final tone and color adjustments. In my camera bag
I carry around a 7DMK II with various lenses between 8 & 200mm a couple of flashes, tripos, and a ton of ND filters.Feedback
