Location
This photo was taken at my small town Minnesota home as a stunning sunset graced us good bye as the summer churned to an end.Time
This picture was taken back when the sun stayed up longer so probably around 8:30pmLighting
I wanted to show the rays of sun splayed across the sky but I also didn't wan't to surrender the nice blue behind it. I decided after at least 50 pictures that I had gotten the shot I wanted.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon T5 with a beautiful Rokinon 16mm and NiSi CP to help with the over exposure.Inspiration
I was inspired to go out by watching a DigitalRev TV video on YouTube that had Chase Jarvis on it :)Editing
I did the usual lighting of the foreground was a problem but using a few separate pictures I finally got what I needed. I didn't go further so what you see here is what it looked like in real life and real time.In my camera bag
I usually bring ND filters the NiSi V5 kit, Telephoto lense, Rokinon Wide Angle Lense, Canon T5, cleaning gear, tripod, and most importantly, a creative mindset.Feedback
Timing is key, get the spot get there quick and stay late. Try more things. If you think you got the best shot possible play around with some setting to try for more creative and unique perspectives. Have Fun and don't get frustrated, get better.
