One of my favorite times to catch the moon rise is in the late evening hours. On this day we were high up in the mountains in North Carolina, The sun sun was setting to the West, the sky was lit up in in a brilliant ray of pink. Instead of catching a full Landscape photo, I decided to grab a shot of the moon rising up over the trees. It was a magical evening to watch the sun set to the West and the Moon rise to the East.
