Location
I've taken this photo near the village "Unterwasser" in Switzerland. The waterfalls in this area are called "Thurfälle".Time
I've taken the image in the early evening. The sun has disappeard behind the mountains and in this little valley everything was laying in light shadows.Lighting
Not really, I just hoped, that there would be enough light because I wanted to try and learn the thing with the ND-filter ;-)Equipment
I've used a Nikon D810, 24-70 lens, tripod, ND-filter and a remote control for the cam.Inspiration
A friend told me about this waterfall. The days before we had heavy rainfalls and I thought, at least, there would be enough water. It's a really great place. In front of the waterfall behind the bridge, there is a little cave. It's awesome to stand there and "feel" the power of the water!Editing
Only a little Lightroom-post-processing. Don't like to spend much time in photo-editing ;-)In my camera bag
My D810 and the 24-70 lens.Feedback
Going to such places at times, when not too many people are around. For the filter-using I can't give any advices yet, because I'm still learning and trying to use it. Well... perhaps "try and experiment" would be my advice so far :-) And of course using at least a tripod.
