Inspiration

I love flowers of any kind and roses are one of my favorites. The place where I took the photo has a gigantic rose garden with many unique special varieties. I try to get there during peak rose blooming time each year and I always take tons of pictures of them all.

Editing

Yes - I edited the background so the focus would be on just the rose and the leaves. I also removed any flaws in the flower and leaves.

Feedback

Hold the camera as still as possible after zooming in on the subject. I used the flower setting on my camera which helps when trying to get a good close up macro shot. Do not be afraid to take more than one shot of the subject. Also do not hesitate to use post processing on your pictures.
