Baobab - African. This tree shows its most recent scars made by elephants. The large Baobabs in Tanzania said to be over 1000 years old and as much as 5000 years old. Older than the pyramids! A South Africa was dated at around 6000 years old. This tree could have seen fifty generations or more of the elephant in the background of this photo.
