Awesome image! Absolute balance between lights and shadows. Moreover, it looks like oil painting!

If there is a flaw with this picture I don't see it. Tremendous job. May I ask where it was taken?

Location
I took this picture in Brittany, France.Time
It was the end of the afternoon. The sky was good but a little flat, because the sun was hidden behind some clouds. I stay trere around 1 hour and as on the Brittany coast, there is a lot of wind, the clouds moved and the sun starts to put fire in the sky and on the lighthouse.Lighting
It is of course a natural light shoot. The idea was to be at the opposite side of the bridge to let it in the shadow and put emphasize on the light of the sun hitting the rock and the part of the arch.Equipment
I use a Nikon D700 with a Nikkor 24-120 f/4. No filter and I shot handheld.Inspiration
The light. It was really spectacular. The location is of course great but this light is the last piece of the puzzle.Editing
Nothing particular: playing with the highlight and shadows, adjustement on the colors, some clarity and texture. In my camera bag
For landscape, my regular kit is a camera, 2-3 lenses (2 zooms 24-70 & 70-200 and a wide angle 15mm), a tripod, some ND filters and a polarizing.Feedback
Of course you can make some cool pictures in your backyard but to make great pictures you have to find great location. And then you have to be patient to have a great light condition because without great light you cannot do great picture.
