Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this one at my father's camp (sami adventure.no), one of the tourists left he's kamera for 2 minutes so i had to shot it :)

Time

this was taken in the nighttime, though I could just as well have taken this at daytime because of the polar nights we have here far up north in norway.

Lighting

As said here up north we have the Northern Lights almost every night, only problem I have is to find an object to photograph in front of the aurora.

Camera: Canon 6D Lens: Samyang 14mm F2.8 tripod: Vanguard alta 233 Settings used: aperture: 2.8, ISO: 2500, Exposure: 2/1

Inspiration

as said before the only problem i have is to find objects to photograph in front of the aurora, so when one of the tourists left his camera unattended i had to shot it.

Editing

adjusted the colors a bit so that the picture will "pop"

My canon 6D (Of course), Canon EF 24-70/2,8 L Usm, Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD, Samyang/Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC(low budget, but a perfect northern lights lense), Vanguard alta 233 tripod, unnamed cable release and some cleaning equipment. all that inside my Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW.
