Location

I was walking the dogs when I came across this dandelion, sparkling in the morning sunlight, covered in the mornings' dew The only thing I had was my old iPhone 4s, so I grabbed a capture, hoping for a beautiful image This image was redone in Nik software to bring out the detail and highlights

Time

The air was crisp, on this early fall morning in September of 2012

Lighting

Early Morning Sunlight Rulez !! Get up and get out there before the sun comes up and you will be amamzed at all the beauty you will find Nothing beats early morning sunlight

Equipment

Iphone 4s and Nikon D3100

Inspiration

I wasn't expecting to capture anything but a walk with the dogs, But I had my Iphone handy when I spotted this lonely dandelion, covered in the morning dew and bathed in the first sunlight of the day I had to take a copy from Mother Nature Mother Nature sure does know how to inspire !!

Editing

This was first processed with Lightroom But once Nik software became free, I dove right into it to edit this photo and I am so happy with the results Nik Software RULES !!! :)

In my camera bag

Normally I carry my Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm lens and a 70-200mm zoom Just starting out, so I really don't have much equipment

You must get up early, on beautiful days to capture what Mother Nature provides for you I am a huge fan of early mornings! And there is nothing better than early morning sunlight to make almost any image look spectacular
