Sensually beautiful lady, especially how she has her lips slightly puckered. The lighting is perfect also.

This was taken in my studio in Wigan at the end of January this year - from the Firebird series. This series is destined to become a book featuring the Model, Jenny O'Sullivan later in the year. Jenny is the perfect muse for this project beautiful natural flowing red locks and Jenny knows how to work to camera and understands the light or fire element I am seeking. Really pleased to have made it as a finalist - good luck to all and fingers crossedTime
Shot in the middle of the day lit with two soft boxes from the from and a beauty dish from behind light in the fire in Jenny's hair. Jenny's hair is 100% natural which means we can build a series over a perioidLighting
Most was already mentioned above but worth adding I do have to bounce frames in black keeping the light containedEquipment
Olympus EM5 mk 2 camera with a 70 MM. lens beauty dish on a flash to the rear two square soft boxes at the front left and right and the camera hand heldInspiration
Jenny O'Sullivan inspired this entire series as is the inspiration for the book which will follow .This is a series of 4 shoots across the year the first in January, just done the second a third is taking place in location in the Lakes and a fourth in the autumn. This lady is a awesome muse and I inspiration to much of my work this year - Jenny just oozes sensuality and is so professional to work with. Footnote Jenny is a really accomplished musician too - look out for a real rising talentEditing
Very little photoshop under 5 minutes - framing and titling took up most of thatIn my camera bag
2 Olympus MK 5 cameras and a selection of 10 pro lenses across the range from pancake to Zoom acquired over the last 20 years. Although I have been shooting with Olympus the last 35 years.Feedback
Be prepared to go outside the box in your thoughts, storyboard your shoot and discuss with your model involve them so they understand your mindset and thoughts. Be prepared to pay your model especially if it how they earn their living - then like Jenny they go the extra mile. Be prepared to delete a shoot and go again - keep true to your vision but listen to any input and show the shots in the breaks another source of great input. Final thought no I in team - this was a team image
