Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in Hallstatt in Austria

Time

It was dark, we were in September but it is particularly cold. We prospected to find a place where we had the best view of the village

Lighting

I did not have a great habit of long poses and it was the best opportunity. I used a tripod and I made several shot with different exposure time. This one surprised me with the running clouds which gives a soft aspect in the sky.The light was just after the blue hour when the night really begins to fall

Equipment

I use a tripod and my camera 5DMARKII 24mmm iso100 89s F13

Inspiration

I loved this place with this typical Austrian village. The mountainous place is exceptional with more reflections in the lake, it is for me the perfection of calm and peaceful life

Editing

Not to much processing , the picture was enough by herself .Just using LR for little corrections on courbe

In my camera bag

This time I took my tripod because I had time to stop , but normally on trval i don't take it . For this kind of picture tripod is the most important . Never forget extra flash batteries and memorie cards .
