The lighting, the ambiance, the rich colors & blended saturation makes this GREAT! Well Done!

Thank you very much. This was such a great night to photograph. The lighting made everything so atmospheric!

Location
I captured this photograph at Vauxhall nightclub/music venue in London!Time
It was about 3am at this point.Lighting
I always find the lighting fascinating at venues like this, and if you get the chance to just sit back and look for shots, rather than being shoved about in the busy crowd, you always find something amazing. The smoke builds in this venue, like it has nowhere to really escape, instead it just surrounds people and sillouettes there outlines.Equipment
The photo was taken with a 24-70mm and a Nikon d610. It's quite a simple shot, not much has been done.Inspiration
The reason I titled it 'it's about the fans not the artist' is because I couldn't actually tell you exactly who was playing at this time. I think it was Brookes brothers, but I thought it was more important that you don't know who is playing. You just see many dedicated fans!Editing
The colours have been tweaked abit, it was a tad cooler and a I thought it felt better a bit warmer. In my camera bag
I work with two bodies. A D800 and a D610. My lenses are a Nikkor 24-85, 50mm prime, Nikkor 10-24mm, Nikkor 70-200mm but I've also got a cool fisheye! I live by flash guns, best bit of equipment your kit bag if you ask me, I've got a sb800 and an sb910. They work wonders with flash benders!!Feedback
Just simply capture what you see. Take a moment to step back from the action and compose your shot in your head before you compose it in the camera. Your shots will be much more successful!
