The covered bridge over the White River near the tiny town of Williams, Indiana. Built in 1884, up until a couple years ago it was the longest double span covered bridge in Indiana that was still open to traffic. But after 2 arson attempts, the town put a 'small' fortune into preservation, including new roof, siding, the application of fire retardant, a sprinkler system, and surveillance cameras, and is now only open to foot traffic........ sad, isn't it?
