I took this photo at Contra Studios in New York City. http://contrastudios.com/

Time

I took this photograph during a studio session during the afternoon.

Lighting

I used Briese lighting. I used a focus 77

Equipment

I used a Canon 5d Mark iv Tripod Studio lighting (briese focus 77)

Inspiration

I wanted to take a photograph that used makeup to do what is normally done in photoshop these days. I worked with a makeup artist to create this effect. There is very little photoshop at all on the image.

Editing

Very little. Contrast and saturation adjustments,

Feedback

Use really easily adjustable studio lightning like bron color, ppro foto, or briese. Use a fill card underneath subjects face and adjust distance until you get the perfect bounce. I prefer parabolic modifiers for the light heads
