When Kecil was born, his mom rejected him. He was sent to another zoo but the female there also rejected him. He was sent then to Brookfield Zoo in Illinois and one of their older females named Maggie accepted him and they have bonded well. They were kept off public view for months to facilitate the bonding process. Kecil came to the edge and appeared to be posing for me.
