Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo last year on holiday in Faro,Portugal

Time

It was late afternoon, sun was setting nicely light level was low allowing for long exposures

Lighting

Warm setting sun ideal for seascape shoots like this I had a lot of contrast this is why I decided to convert to black and white

Equipment

I usedy trusty canon 7d with sigma 10-20 wide angle lens on it manfrotto travel compact tripod and two nd filters one graduated for even exposure and one for long exposure

Inspiration

Other people work inspire me most I look at the photos every day on various websites just for inspiration but I never try to copy others work at the moment I'm try to find my own style

Editing

Nothing fancy here just simple row conversion with Lr and some dodging and burning with ps

In my camera bag

Canon 7d with sigma 10 20 canon 17 85 and canon 50mm f1.8 set of filters remote release spare batteries and memory cards and tripod I'm not a rich guy so cannot afford more equipment :(

Feedback

Just go out there and try yourself make sure you take filters (nd) or polariser wait for light to be low and have fun shooting :)
