Location
This photo was taken just in front of our house.Time
this is around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.Lighting
the lighting for this photo was just the natural light from the sun, I took advantage of the sunny afternoon that very day.Equipment
I had my nikon D5100 to help me shoot this and I'm not sure if I had n only the kit lens on with this or 55-200mm lens, sorry for my loss of memory here, hahaha. didn't use any flash because of the intense light coming from the sun and it bouncing from our white painted door to the face of my swishboy.Inspiration
really, I was just inspired by how my dog swish looked at me while relaxing and then he started feeling pretty relax and went on licking his foot. as if he is teasing me to take a photo of him.Editing
I used lightroom for my post processing and just simple slides on it with some additional brush to add some drama to the photo, and I made it b&w because I didn't like the color of the wall behind him, and also to show the beauty of the photo even without colorIn my camera bag
I have a small bag that carries my Nikon d5100, kit lens, 55-200mm lens, and some filters. together with these I also carry a tripod. and for the unconventional things inside my bag, I carry a small bottle of water spray (you don't know when & where you might use this for your flower shots or anything). cloth (white and black), and finally my trusty strong plastic bag,(because I can't afford any waterproofing accessories), I made it to help me shoot during rainy days.Feedback
My simple advice for all those who's reading this is just follow your heart, whatever you feel like shooting with whatever camera you have, just click for it. and always be ready at all times, you don't know what might appear in front of you. another thing is post processing greatly helps our photos,we can do whatever we want through post processing. but for me, the simplest yet most effective use of post processing is directing the eyes of your viewers to what you really want to show in your photos. and, just keep shooting, you will greatly improve at composing if you really practice. That's it! Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity of sharing my amateur talent to you. Hopefully, one day I can post and write again here as a professional photographer. Thank you ViewBug!!!
