Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Antelope Canyon, Arizona, USA.

Time

How can you know, being in Antelope Canyon you are right underground. And little light gets there, so make sure in advance that you do not forget the tripod.

Lighting

In sunny weather, time of day is important for photography, because during the day at different times the canyon walls are highlighted by different colors depending on the position of the sun. So the same place at 10 am and at 5 pm will look differently.

Equipment

I used camera Phase One IQ180, tripod Girzo, lens Phase One 40mm.

Inspiration

I'm sure when you go down into Antelope Canyon you do not need special inspiration in advance. Once there you will understand at once what and how to shoot.

Editing

I used just regular Photoshop options as contrast, color balance. Nothing special.

In my camera bag

Usually i have my camera Phase One IQ180, three lenses Phase One 40mm, Phase One 80mm, and Mamya 24mm, tripod Girzo with Manfrotto head, two filters from Hitech and thats all.

Feedback

When you're walking inside this canyon try to move slow. ?onstantly changing viewing height, sit down on your knees, turn your head and change the viewing angle of shooting and you'll see you can take away a lot of new photos are absolutely not similar to the previous ones from this place.
