Very nice. I have a photo of Riomaggiore from the sea on my Flickr page and one of Vernazza here on ViewBug.

Location
This was taken in the village of Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre. I was waiting for a ferry boat to take me to another village when I looked back at the village. The right angles of the buildings and the great colors reminded me of a Mondrian painting.Time
This was taken at lunch time, but it was a day with light clouds which gave a more even light.Lighting
No.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon camera and lens. No tripod, flash, or filter other than a polarizer.Inspiration
One look and I wanted to try to capture the moment.Editing
I cropped the photo a little and used the Apple "Enhance" feature to bring the color up just a bit.In my camera bag
I normally have a Nikon D500 camera and a DX 18-55 zoom. I also carry a Nikon DX 55-300 zoom and a Nikon DX 85mm micro lens. I always carry a variety of ND filters.Feedback
Be there and be lucky. You will never be lucky if you are not prepared to shoot at all times. Luck does not favor those with a dirty lens, dead batteries, or their cameras put away in their bag or trunk of their car.
