Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the apartment complex I was living at in Federal Way, Washington.

Time

It was taken in midmornings when I happened upon the buds showing color but still wrapped tightly.

Lighting

The huge evergreen trees around the property cast dappled lighting around the whole area.

Equipment

My camera at that time was an older model Fuji Film. I used just a standard lens and handheld the camera.

Inspiration

I was walking around looking for different things to complete an assignment for a digital photography class I was taking. The buds didn't fit the assignment but they just caught my attention.

Editing

I did nothing to adjust the photo at all. I very seldom do more than lighten or darken slightly. My personal preference is for natural photos.

In my camera bag

At that time my equipment bad included the camera and two lenses and a simple tripod. Right now I only have the camera on my phone but shopping for a new camera.

Feedback

I just trust my camera to see what I see. Most of the time it works well for me.
