This photo was taken in my photostudio in Sluiskil Nederland. Me and my model, we were finishing shooting and decided to take another *angle* of the project...Time
I remember this very vividly ! it was afternoon during winter time! i was using natural light from window to lighten the face ( it was nice and cloudy) . But I knew its gonna be like 15 min more of that light and then puff to oblivion with it.. So I run to my garden and borrowed some of the branches with flowers arranged them and my model could not stop laughing at me...Lighting
this was lighten by natural window light plus i was using one softbox from the front to balance any shadows .. I wanted her to look like in a dream but also capture as much as possible of her perfect features. If I remember correctly the shine on her lips was added later in editingEquipment
my lovely Canon 5D mark III was used here and 50 mm 1.8f lens, I used softbox to balance natural light.Inspiration
oh I was dreaming about this costume and dress for a long time... Since I saw anime named Shakugan no Shana. there was a device called Midnight lost child. I was captured by it and I made costume and make up and set of my interpretation of the device ... resurrection at midnight every night for the rest of your life to live another day :)Editing
Oh yesss I love post-process. to make the flowers look like there is a light there I just used lightroom from Adobe to create illusion with local exposure change, the same for the lips shine. Then in Ps I added mist ( because it reminds me of the hot summer midnight after heavy cold rain)In my camera bag
oh 70 - 200 mm from canon 2.8f is there just all the time. I love that glass despite the fact that is heavy like hell I love the drawing... and it pairs well with Canon 5D mark III got from the bestest man alive :) plus 50 mm just in case i need to be close to something. Basically if I go lightly somewhere this is what I have. And I forgot my 430 speedlight... just in case :) I also always have a baby powder there, bottle of water, pack of tissues and closing pin :) thats the backpack of AlthreyaFeedback
Be sure you erase all hard light and shadows by using any kinda material you have. Then just the right angle... and oh yea the model :) you need to find a spot around where she looks attractive. Every woman has features she is sensitive about so careful for it :)
