Behind The Lens

Location

Jokusarlon, the famous glacier lagoon in Iceland

Time

after 8h pm

Lighting

I wanted to get the flow of the waves, so i used a long exposure (2 sec). Getting the correct position and not getting wet equipment was not easy..

Equipment

Nikon D7000, Tripod, Formatt-Hitech filter (nd grad)

Inspiration

The beauty of the ice on the black volcano sand is unbelievable, the glacier and the icebergs / ice blocks are several 100 years old

Editing

Lightroom, darken the "lights" and added more clarity.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000, Sigma 10-20mm, Nikon AI-55mm (micro), Remote Controller, 2nd accu, polarizer filter, ND, ND-Grad filter

Feedback

try different perspectives, be carefull with the equipment and the nature. Waves, salt and wind are not good for the camera... Some of these block can be 30m in size, others like the one in the front of my pic maybe around one meter.
