Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo from the Chicago Botanical Gardens.Time
In the early morning light.Lighting
The sun was shining from above.Equipment
I use a Nikon with a macro lens.Inspiration
I love paying attention to details in what I am looking at especially with the light that was dancing behind that flower or person. I also play allot with the angle and the depth of field. Most of the time I also put myself in an agile on the ground or using my body as a tripod if needed to be still.Editing
No post processing was done. If I ever do any it is adjustment of contrast. In my camera bag
I always carry a telephoto lens as well as a macro lens.Feedback
I go out either in the early morning or the late evening before sunset to capture that golden light. Being patient and ply with many angles, perspectives and adjusting my depth of field. I love when the end result people tend to say, oh that looks like a painting. Have fun! Keep snapping that shutter and carry a camera with you always. At times I even see something and go park then walk back to a flower or light that I see dancing on a fence, or a spiderweb dripping water from the morning dew.
