Location
This was taken in UNESCO heritage site of Uruguay I. The city of Colonia de Sacramento.Time
This was taken in the afternoon, usually a bad time of day to take a photo but the overcast from rain helped diffuse the light.Lighting
If it wasn’t for the fact it was raining the image would have been washed out by the sun. The sun slighting peeking through the clouds helped preserve the vibrant colors.Equipment
This was taken with with Canon 60d 28-70 f/2.8 hand held.Inspiration
The street has some great lead-in perspective. The colors were amazing so I took a photo. It looked plain so I asked my girlfriend to walk down the street.Editing
Yes, this was processed originally in Apple Aperture and later processed in Capture One.In my camera bag
When doing travel photography I am usually carrying my Olympus OMD EM5 II M.Zuiko 45mm 1.8, M.Zuiko 17mm 1.8, M.Zuiko, 12-40mm 2.8 Pro and Yongnuo flash and trigger and FujiFilm Instamax.Feedback
Do not be afraid of rain, the clouds in the sky add drama as well as diffuse light during what would usually be a harsh light from the sun.
