Ants have compound eyes. It means that, they have many tiny eyes that form into two big eyes and hence they can see in many directions at once. Ant can spot any predator easily and can sting causing irritation to even the biggest of its predators. Size does not matter!! This is the Rule of the nature! Kindly apply the rule of thirds to spot his eyes here..!

I love shooting ants and have a macro of one which shows the eyes but that, I did not know! Fascinating! I love this shot. You got such great detail!

Very nice informative explanation about ant's character its eyes directional functionality. like that. The image is beautiful with red flower lifting the image immensely, nice dtail and nicely composed. Terrific capture.
