Great capture, amazing how the colors of the flower and bee are matching each other. Welcome to VB

Location
This image was shot in my backyard garden. Macro is one of my favorite types of photography. I love the challenge.Time
This image was shot early evening shortly before the golden hour. I love shooting this time of day because the light is so pretty and allows you to open up your stops to capture a shallow depth of field.Lighting
This was shot with natural light. A large tree in the back ground softens sunlight and gives a nice bokeh to the image.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon Rebel, 90mm macro lens, and tripod.Inspiration
My garden is one of my favorite place to shoot. I always have my camera handy as I weed, water, and watch for visitors like the bumble bee.Editing
This photo only need a little sharpening since it was shot in RAW. With beautiful lighting and a sharp capture I didn't need to do anything else.In my camera bag
I normally have my Canon 60D with my 90mm macro for detail shots. I have a 50mm, 85mm fixed lens and a 17-85mm for flexibility. I also have a flash, but rarely use it for nature shots as I like to work with available light.Feedback
To capture something similar a good macro lens is a must. Also lots of patience and a tripod.
