I think it was almost mid-day 9th March 2015Lighting
Not really, other than it was a little bit chilly but a bright day.Equipment
I have a Canon G11. I just placed camera on beach hut step with shell and set the timer and took the photo.Inspiration
It was taken while on a walk along the sea front where I live and I stopped to sit and rest a bit and just watch the world go by. Next to me I found the shell on the steps I was sitting on. Someone must have brought it off the beach and left it there. I put it back down on floor and then saw the possibility of a photo, with the beach huts behind.Editing
I processed the RAW file and I don't think I did too much more after that.In my camera bag
I had just the Canon G11 and a small mini (5 inch) pocket Tri-Pod. My camera is just a glorified point and shoot camera not a true DSLR. So no bags of lenses to carry around as I can't change the lens it folds back into the camera's body.Feedback
All I can only say is, that even when sitting down to rest and watch the world go by. Keep an eye out for possible photo's.
