Behind The Lens

Location

Along the road of Mall of Asia (Philippines) near MOA Eye (Ferris Wheel)

Time

Minutes before sunset..

Lighting

For this photo I used only natural light. We believe that there is no better way to light your environment than through the natural lighting of the sun.. It is up to us to take these opportunities and to use our creativity to create something beyond the ordinary.

Equipment

Canon EOS 550D with the kit lens. No tripod. Because this photo was taken by accident and was not planned at all. I was on my way home with my girlfriend when all of a sudden I noticed the sunset position and the colors around. I immediately took the opportunity to grab my camera and went out to the car and took couple of shots of that beautiful sunset.

Inspiration

I am eager to find a great sunset scene at the unusual places. I am always fond of taking sunset shots with a little story behind it.

Editing

No post-processing at all.

In my camera bag

Camera, extra lens, backup battery, memory card and lens hood.

Feedback

Find the foreground first. The best recipe for a good sunset is some object of interest in the foreground. Just find something interesting to put in the foreground to add depth to the scene..
