This photo was taken in the mountains of South Carolina, close to the end of September. The water was a chilly 60 degrees.Time

I wanted to capture a waterfall image and my friend is always up for a challenge. The water was extremely chilly for the end of September; yet she was a trooper. The canopy of trees over the waterfall were not letting much of the sun's rays warm things up.Equipment
I took this picture with a Canon 60D with 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
I enjoy nature and capturing people in it's surroundings. I'm thankful to have a friend that is always game to try different things and locations. I get bored easily by images being duplicated with different models. No two people are the same. Neither should their images.Editing
I lightened the image just a tad, and applied a dream action and sharpened it up. I wanted the image to have a fairy-tale feel.In my camera bag
I always carry 2 Canons, along with my 70-300mm prime zoom, 17-40mm wide angle and 430EXII speedlite.Feedback
I love to use what nature has given us. Think outside the box when creating the image in your head. Having a subject willing to play out your thoughts is extremely helpful. Go for the shots you think have been done a million times, and put your creative spin on it. The main thing is to have fun.
