Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on an evening at the shoreline of Lake Wanaka - exactly at Roys Bay next to Wanaka.

Time

It was in the evening, right before sunset.

Lighting

There was not that much daylight at this moment which was good for me, because I hadn't a big ND-filter at this time and so I could take a long exposure without any filters.

Equipment

I used an EOS 6D with a TS-E 90mm lens and an ND-grad filter together with a tripod.

Inspiration

The beautiful and famous tree and the landscape around it!

Editing

I converted the RAW file into black and white and played with the color channels until it was perfect for me.

In my camera bag

When I shoot landscapes I have my 6D, a 16-35mm f4, a 14mm f2.8 and some ND-grads, NDs and a polfilter in my bag.
