I've only started doing studio work this was probably my seventh time. I used 2 speed lights inside the lanterns to get this affect. I hung it up with fishing line, It kept spinning on me but the experiment turned out okay.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my living room.

Time

Late evening around 6 o'clock

Lighting

I put two speed lights in the lanterns, and hung the lanterns up by fishing string.

Equipment

I use one studio strobes with a reflector on the opposite side in 45° angles towards my subject.

Inspiration

I was going through a hard time in my life and for some reason I woke up with this vision in my dream. It goes with the series. It's great to be able to produce an image that you've had in your head.

Editing

I hardly had to do any postprocessing just took away some of the fishing string.

In my camera bag

Probably more than I really needed lol definitely of the Golden three lenses though.

Feedback

Don't use a single fishing line to hold the lantern they tend to spend a lot.
